VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK – 2022

Vigilance awareness week is being organized from 31st Oct to 06th Nov 2022 in the Border Security Force North Bengal Frontier and all under command headquarters and border out posts in view to bring awareness against corruption among BSF Jawans. The program was launched in the premises of BSF North Bengal Frontier. Sh Chandra Prakash Saxena, DIG/PSO of Ftr HQ BSF North Bengal administered integrity pledge to all personnel. The central vigilance commission has announced the theme of “Corruption free India for a Developed Nation” for vigilance awareness week of this year.

On this occasion, Inspector General of BSF North Bengal Frontier given a message to call upon all officers / employees to bring integrity and transparency in all areas and strengthen their commitment to fight against corruption with enthusiasm. Further he said, in the year 1999, Govt. of India declares that the week ending with 31st October every year should be observed as the Vigilance Awareness Week. The significance of 31st October is that it is the birthday of the Loh Purush of India, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. He also said that the aim of such program is to create awareness against corruption among the troops. Every person should execute his duty with truth, honesty and efficiency by eliminating the natural greedy nature in his life.

During vigilance awareness week, various programme will be organized on the subject of anti-corruption. Special attention will be given to sensitize personnel and achieving objective, and during this week lectures, declamations and essay writing competitions etc will be organized. BSF North Bengal Frontier also tried its best to join this campaign of anti – corruption with school children & local/border population.
