On 05 Nov 2022, one civilian from Uttar Dinajpur alongwith some civilians of border village Cheti under PS Chopra of Uttar Dinajpur district of West Bengal approached to the BSF at BOP Chetnagach of 94 Battalion under Kishanganj Sector of BSF North Bengal Frontier for the help of an emergency while his wife suffering from labor pain for delivery. Further, BSF provided an ambulance with BSF Nursing Staff on emergent basis and evacuated to the nearest Sub Division Hospital, Chopra in the BSF ambulance where the lady is admitted for delivery. The family members of the lady and the villagers heartily appreciated the prompt action by the BSF.
Earlier, one border village lady from the area of responsibility of BOP Chetnagach was also evacuated in a BSF ambulance while she was also suffering from labor pain for delivery to nearest Sub Division Hospital Chopra where she was gave birth a baby (boy).
