Prime Minister Narendra Modi was once again threatened with death. According to sources, this threat was sent to the Mumbai Traffic Control on WhatsApp from an unknown number on Tuesday, after which the Mumbai Crime Branch started a quick investigation. Incidentally, on Tuesday, Mumbai Traffic Control received seven voice messages from an unknown number on WhatsApp. These messages mention, “Two people will kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All plans have already been made in this regard.” Not only the audio messages but also several documents were sent and the police started probing all the messages while the Mumbai Times branch filed a suo motu case and started the investigation. Attempts are being made to track the WhatsApp number from which the messages originated. Incidentally, threats have come to the Mumbai police several times this year regarding various incidents. Among them are bomb blast threats at Mumbai’s prestigious Lalit Hotel and airport bomb threats at various shopping malls and Sahara Hotel in Mumbai. No threat is taken lightly by the police.
