Today there was a budget presentation in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. Meanwhile, the fake MLA was caught in the lobby of the Assembly. It is learned that the arrested person has identified himself as Gajanan Sharma. One has to pass several security levels to enter the assembly. According to Assembly sources, the accused was caught just before entering the session hall.
When asked about his identity, he claimed to have been sent by the alternate governor, Anand Bose. At the same time, he claimed to be a legislator. But he could not show any identity card. The arrested person has been handed over to Hare Street police station.
