On 06 Mar 2023 (Monday), BSF Wives’ Welfare Organization (BWWA) of North Bengal Frontier Border Security Force Kadamtala celebrated International Women’s Day – 2023 at Family Welfare Centre, BSF Campus, Kadamtala under the guidance of Smt Richa Singh, President, BWWA, BSF North Bengal Frontier. The celebration was marked by various activities.
On this occasion, various competition and games like Quiz, Hair-styling, Stitching and Embroidery Competitions were conducted at Family Welfare Centre at BSF Campus Kadamtala. A colourful cultural programme was also organized under the aegis of BWWA at BSF Campus Kadamtala.
This year international theme of women day is” ‘DIGITALL: INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY FOR GENDER EQUALITY.’ Digital technology is opening new doors for the global empowerment of women, girls and other marginalized groups.
The Focus of the programme was to promote the women and the importance of women in today’s society was also showcased. Their talent as BWWA, offers a unique platform to show their talents.
While addressed President, BWWA, BSF North Bengal Frontier appealed BWWA members to look after their families and children. The role of women in BSF is much more responsible as their husband remain deployed on far flung areas of border.
