The 147th board meeting of SJDA was held at Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Board office on Monday. It is said that about 130 new job prospects were discussed in this meeting. Talking to reporters after the meeting, SJDA Chairman Sourav Chakraborty said that according to the instructions of the state government, the emphasis is on emergency based work which includes infrastructural development. For the time being, all the big things SJDA did many years ago will stop. The work will be resumed after revaluation. He also said that most of the tasks assigned to the Suda before the G-20 summit have been completed,the rest will be done soon.
