Nepal, Kenya, Sri Lanka are giving cheaper tea. for that reason Darjeeling tea is now getting dilute from the market. same case is happening to the Doors tea also. only from the Siliguri tea auction centre yearly tea export has been reduced by 25 lakh ton. sometime it is getting more lesser. it is reported that the quality of the tea is very bad. sometimes it’s been reported that north Bengal and Assam tea is found excessive pesticide on the Tea leaves. they have been reduced the rate of the tea per kg. still they are not getting the market again restored. overall the north Bengal, Darjeeling and Assam, dooarsd market is getting narrow day by day. once assam’s arthodox used to exported to Iran. after the Russia Ukraine war atmosphere it also been closed. one hand the Darjeeling tea is retreating by Nepal tea, other hand that they also losing their market. it is been reported that a English bidding system is now stopped. and from the last few years that tea auction has been doing by Bharat portal. it is a kind of tender system for that reason the bidders are losing interest. only the big fishes are getting benefited. the whole thing is been reported to the ministry of Commerce union government by the exporters and the marketers. the road map is being asked by the central government is being made now. experts are saying that so many reasons are there. after 2017 the regular strike and close tea Gardens are big reason for interrupting the exports and tea growing. the other tea related activities there is 87 tea garden in Darjeeling. but they are losing their production by day in 2016. there was a 83 lakh kg they have been grown and after few years in 2022 it is being reduced to 66 lakh per kg. the difference is being showed very properly in 2021. there was 365 rupees per kg now. the rate is 349 rupees per kg. European countries like England, Germany or France and Australia, USA also regularly rejecting the Indian specially Darjeeling tea for excessive pesticides and higher rate. they are getting tea from Kenya, Sri Lanka and Nepal at the cheaper one.
